2020 Cub Haunted Service

Post date: Sep 7, 2020 TBD:TBD:TBD PM

Good afternoon Scouting friends. Hope everyone is healthy and happy. Believe it or not it is already time for our annual Cub Haunted weekends. The health and safety of our members is of the highest importance, so plans are subject to change if the public health emergency reaches a level 4. To be able to provide the quality program that all the Scouts deserve we need people like you to volunteer. Because of Covid group sizes will be smaller than normal so we will need more volunteers than normal. We are looking for both troops and individuals to help. This event is FREE for you to volunteer.

These volunteer opportunities are both for Order of the Arrow members and non members. You do need to be a registered BSA member and for all adults have your current Youth Protection training up to date.

CUB HAUNTED at BEAUMONT SCOUT RESERVATION

October 23-25

This is an event for both Packs and individuals .

Activities include movies, BB gun shooting, archery, branding, crafts, peddle cars, pumpkin carving, wrist rockets, water rockets, climbing walls, dutch oven cooking, fishing, STEM projects, campfire, candle making, haunted fort, haunted walk, apple cider demos, candy making demo and so much more. This is where we need your help to put on these fun events.

When signing up please indicate your preference for volunteer duty, but be flexible if help is needed elsewhere.

As a thank you for helping volunteer, the staff would like to offer you free of charge, meals, patches, t-shirt and a place to pop a tent up so you can spend the night. With limited cabins, tent locations will be all that can be provided at this time. Volunteers will also receive service hours for their time.

If you want to volunteer, but need to arrive late or leave early, please add that in the comments section. Let us know if you have any food allergies or restrictions in that section as well.

Complete one form per person. Youths and adults, members and non-members alike, are welcome to volunteer. Volunteers must be Scouts BSA age or older.
